Answer
|
|
Kernig's sign is resistance to full knee extension when the patient is supine with the hip flexed to 90 degrees. Brudzinski's contralateral sign is flexion of the contralateral hip during passive flexion of the opposite hip. Brudzinski's neck sign is flexion of the hips in response to passive neck flexion. All are considered to be signs of meningeal irritation.
